I was shortlisted for ‘Bricks and clicks’ Best Multi Channel Small Business with The Smalls Awards in May.
I was invited to celebrate International Womens Day at The Corinthia Hotel in London alongside 19 other Inspirational Women through F Entrepreneur Top 100
Last year I won one of the Small Business Saturday 100 places, alongside 8 other Scottish Businesses. In October I was in London for their famous ‘Blue Tie’ Event in Holburn. I won Small Business Sunday with Theo Paphitis, ‘Women on Wednesday’ with Jacqueline Gold and a handful of other Social Media Awards.
My Destination Range Luxury Hudson candle was shortlisted for Gift of the Year 2017.
I have had paintings exhibited in galleries in Edinburgh and Glasgow, and even appeared on the TV show Magpie for a series (ahem who).

When not making candles at candle Towers
Jo can be found running Marathons, Duathlons, skydiving, abseiling, skiing, cycling and has just completed her first Triathlon the first step to a Half Ironman in 2020. She has just finished Swimming the 22 miles across the English Channel, a challenge she is in completed n her local pool, after learning to swim in 2017. Read the Triathlon Newbie Report here. With a voracious appetite for reading she is currently on year 2 of 100 books in a year challenge. She has just started her own book club which focuses on self development and motivational books.
