What initially started off with a couple of books, I thought this is silly i’m never going to keep at it unless there is a challenge involved so set myself a goal of 100 books in a year. It was a steep one as I hadn’t read a book for years, and I MEAN years!
It had to be either business related, motivational or inspirational as I am not really a Fiction kinda gal, sorry 50 Shades of Grey you didn’t make the cut. I am a complete documentary freak, anything adventure with friend Keith Partridge, Steve Backshall and I adore David Attenborough, little bit of a crush going on there.
It has been a complete mind blowing experience, so much so that I have just began another, I am only on my second book of the year, it was tough to get the books read and I did listen to a lot of Audio versions. In the last 5 months iv’e been travelling back and forth to Rosyth to Acorn Business Accelerator which I am part of and that alone has given me 4 hours + in the car each week to listen. I think Jim Rohn said ‘turn your car into a university’ and that is exactly what I did.
Though listening, you actually get mentions of other books so that in itself creates a forward list, so its almost ready made for the next year, although I love recommendations to.
Here’s the downloadable PDF if you are looking to create your own list.
